KCON LA 2018 PHOTO GALLERY: Artist Engagement, Hi-Touch Event, Convention & More!

KCON LA was just held on August 10th-12th and came to a close with great success! While the concerts were held nightly at the Staples Center, it was at the LA Convention Center where the daily festivities were carried out to their full extent.

The party started fully on Friday where the convention was in full bloom. Fans could browse the convention area to find out more about Korean beauty and makeup, visit pop-up Kpop shops, see cool technology from Korea, visit booths from their favorite Korean companies, play games, and much more! In addition, there were daily performances going on where even fans who weren’t going to the concerts could enjoy amazing shows and artists.

Throughout the three days of the convention, many workshops were held where fans could attend and get involved. Many of these were with special YouTube guests like Irene Kim and Qpark and producers like Cha Cha Malone and Woogie. The world-famous 1 MILLION Dance Studio was also on hand, much to the delight of fans obsessed with their sweet dance moves and fierce skills. Another fan favorite was the popular dance workshop that is held yearly at the convention.

Other special guests included artists like former Royal Pirates member James Lee, singer-songwriter eSNa, singer and actress Subin, and many more. In fact, many of these artists— along with some of the ones from the concert lineup such as IMFACT, TWICE, and MOMOLAND— stopped by the convention to see fans, take selfies, participate in special events, performances, and more.

One of the things fans loved most was the opportunity to interact with their favorite idols during the artist engagement sessions. From audience member passes to hi-touch sessions, fans got up close and personal with their favorite artists, delighting all the lucky fans who managed to snag a pass into the special event.

Another fun part of the convention was the nightly KLUB KCON, where various artists came to perform for fans in a hype, club-like setting. Crush, Dynamic Duo, MOMOLAND, and others participated in the fun performances.

Overall, KCON LA 2018 seemed to be even more packed than previous years with many fans returning from previous years, as well as many new fans coming for the first time. By the time the three-day event was finally over, people were already full of plans to come back next year.
