A lot of things that happen to idols usually take place away from the cameras. We don’t follow everywhere they go or watch every step they take, but sometimes celebrities reveal secrets that are just too funny to keep to themselves!
Sana (TWICE)
TWICE‘s Sana loves food, especially pork. But unfortunately for her, she follows a strict diet program that holds her back from enjoying as many delicious treats as she desires. Her secret happen many years back when she wasn’t able to eat as freely as she did now.
Sana revealed, “I was craving pork so badly back in the day, but because of the surveillance cameras, I couldn’t just order it and have it delivered right in front of our doors. So, I ended up using a shoelace to tie money down the window to the delivery person and get the pork up as well. Whenever the company nagged and scolded us for eating too much, I’d pretend that I couldn’t understand Korean.”
Chanyeol (EXO)
EXO’s Chanyeol once took a piece of advice too literally. Check out the story he revealed:
“During my trainee days, my manager told me to learn from Suho and watch how he does things and also to follow him. So, I went everywhere he went. I followed him everywhere. One day, he asked me if I was following him. I told him that I didn’t know. He then asked me why I lived. For [all of my] seventeen years, I couldn’t come up with an answer for it. He then told me to stop following him around until I knew the answer to the question.”
Seolhyun (AOA)
AOA’s Seolhyun once shared a story about the innocent reason she got in trouble. It happened when she wanted to watch the “Kung Fu Panda” movie.
She revealed, “I really wanted to watch the movie. So, some of the group members and I snuck out of our dorm at night. To our surprise, we ran into one of the staff members at the theater. Our stuff was taken out of the dorm and we were told not to show up for practice the next day. All of us then went back home. But they called us all back after three days. I was hoping I could rest for at least a week, but it was just three days before they called us back.”
Yunho (TVXQ)
TVXQ’s Yunho once revealed a funny story ever that became famous amongst second generation K-pop fandoms. The singer told everyone how he got into trouble with his ex-girlfriend who saw him with a another woman who turned out to be Super Junior’s Heechul!
He is now one of the most respected senior idols in the industr but back when he was trainee, even he couldn’t escape some crazy experiences. He shared, “During our trainee days, Heechul loved pink, flowery shirts and his face is a bit feminine too. One day, Heechul kept on brushing my shoulders and my girlfriend who was sitting at the back, saw it and thought that I was cheating on her.”
So, because she thought Heechul was a woman, Yunho’s girlfriend broke up with him.
Heechul (Super Junior)
Known as a bad boy during his younger days, Heechul has revealed many stories too. He once talked about what a rebellious youngster he was in SM Entertainment.
“My entertainment company and I were in a dispute over the type of musical style I should go for. I had to write apology letters almost every day, but just to show I wasn’t going to back down easily, I always included, ‘I don’t know why I’m writing this,’ and so forth. I also happened to have received quite a lot of suspension time for my attitude. I was too young back then and just assumed they’d call me back when they needed me.”
