K-Film “Brother” To Be Released in November Featuring EXO’s D.O., Jo Jung Suk and Park Shin Hye

EXO‘s D.O. and actor Jo Jung Suk will be playing siblings in the upcoming movie “Brother.” Co-starring actress Park Shin Hye, the movie is set to premiere in Korea at the end of November.

The comedy follows the plot of Doo Sik (played by Jo Jung Suk), a con-man who is released from prison and coincidentally reunites with his younger brother Doo Young (played by D.O.),  a judo athlete with a lot of potential. Unfortunately, Doo Young gets into an accident before his chance to make the national team. After their chance meeting, the two brothers suddenly live with each other after a long 15 years. Park Shin Hye will also be in the movie as a judo coach who continuously butts heads with Doo Sik.

The movie is only the second project for new director Kwon Soo Hyung. However, the writer is the experienced screenwriter Yoo Young Ah, whose credits include popular movies such as “Miracle in Cell No. 7” and “Steal My Heart.”

The movie began filming on October 15, 2015 and ended after three months. It is said that the cast had perfect chemistry together and kept great attitudes during filming, despite extremely cold weather.
