K-Beauty Review: The “I Dew Care: Take It Easy Calamine Clay Mask” From Memebox

Welcome to the next K-Beauty review here on WTK as we talk about the Take It Easy: Calming Calamine Clay Mask from Memebox!

THE PRODUCT

When it comes to clay masks, calamine is a must for me! My skin is often red due to sun exposure, and I have sensitive skin as well. Imagine my sadness when the Memebox brand Bonvivant no longer made their masks. Well, to my joy, Memebox kept their formula and has since created this beautiful gem featured in our review today. The I Dew Care line seems to be taking off as when I bought this product, many of the other products in the line were already sold out. If you are doing the 10 Step Skincare Routine, this mask, called the “Take It Easy: Calming Calamine Clay Mask,” can replace the sheet mask in step seven.

THE INSTRUCTIONS

To use this product, be sure to use liberally. Being conservative on product will do you no good with this because you need full coverage. It takes about 15-20 minutes to set, so I suggest washing in cool water instead of warm to help close your pores and allow the mask’s wonders to really set in completely. During the waiting process, your face will feel tight, but it won’t crack like other masks often do. You are still able to eat, drink, and more while you wait.

THE RESULT

Once I washed off the mask, the redness on my skin had noticeably faded. I felt no more irritation, and my skin was dewy soft as well. What I also really loved was how it was safe to put around the eye area!

My only qualm? The price. Retailing at $19.00, you don’t get enough product for your buck. So far, I have used it twice and am nearly half-way done. Hopefully, Memebox will lower the price as the I Dew Care line becomes more popular.

THE RATING

I give this product four out of five hearts! It’s a great product that makes me feel soft and doesn’t leave my skin feeling irritated, but the price was a bit of a stretch for my wallet. However, even at that price, I’d definitely buy again!
