On November 13th, singer-actress BoA and actor Joo Won were confirmed to have broken up.
The couple first met in 2015 through acquaintances and due to similar hobbies such as playing golf and hiking, they became closer. Eventually, the two took their friendship to the next level in 2016. In January 2017, they openly admitted their relationship to the public.
BoA’s agency SM Entertainment stated, “It’s true they broke up.” Also, Huayi Brothers, Joo Won’s agency, also confirmed, ‘‘BoA and Joo Won recently broke up. It’s hard to confirm the reason or timing because it’s their personal lives.”
Meanwhile, BoA’s film ”Autumn Sonata” was released last October 19th. Joo Won is currently serving as an army assistant instructor in the 3rd Infantry Division after enlisting into the military last May 16th.
Fans may be sad to hear the news, but they will certainly continue to support both celebrities in the future!
