Jo Jung Suk Cast As Lead In Upcoming Film “Nation Of Happiness”

Jo Jung Suk has been cast in a new film!

On December 23rd, it was revealed that the popular actor had been cast as the lead in the upcoming film “행복의 나라” (Nation of Happiness). The film tells the story of a dedicated lawyer who strives to save a person who is caught up in a case that can shake the very core of the country.

The film is being directed by Choo Chang Min, the mind behind one of Korea’s top-grossing movies of all times— the 2012 hit film “Masquerade.” He also gained fans for his other films like the sleeper hit “Late Blossom” and the star-studded “Seven Years of Night.”

Meanwhile, Jo Jung Suk is a well-known actor popular for his roles in films such as “My Annoying Brother,” “Hit-and-Run Squad,” “EXIT,” and more.” He has also appeared in numerous dramas such as “Oh My Ghostess,” “Jealousy Incarnate,” and “Hospital Playlist,” earning him the status of a true Korean Wave star.

The new movie is aiming to begin filming in the summer of 2021.
