JJ Project‘s comeback is right around the corner!
Earlier this month, JYP Entertainment shocked fans when it announced that JJ Project would be making their first comeback in approximately five years. The duo is made up of JB and Jinyoung of GOT7 and was active before GOT7 was even formed. Since joining GOT7, however, the group has yet to make a comeback.
It has now been reported that the duo will be making their comeback in August! The two singers have reportedly been busy working with songwriters for a new album and are in end stages of working on the album. Korean news say the songwriters are the ones who let is slide that the comeback is planned for August, but JYP has not yet confirmed or announced definite plans to the public.
JJ Project debuted in May of 2012 with the single album, Bounce. Since then, the song has remained popular with GOT7 fans and quickly become a staple at concerts and fanmeetings.
JYP promised that all GOT7 members would be busy with different promotions in 2017, including the solo debut of member Jackson, various acting projects, and the comeback of JJ Project. The group will also embark on a Japanese tour in November.
