On August 9th KST, ”The Rap of China” production has officially announced on social media that Jay Park, multi awarded artist and CEO of AOMG and H1GHR Music, will join the show as a producer!
Other stars that will join the cast as producers this season includes former EXO member Kris Wu, Chinese singer-songwriter Jane Zhang, Taiwanese-American singer-songwriter Will Pan, and Chinese rapper GAI.
Jay Park had previously shown his potential as a mentor when when appeared on Mnet’s ‘‘Show Me The Money’‘ in its fourth and sixth season.
“The Rap of China” is a Chinese rap competition program produced by iQiyi, a Chinese online video platform. The show helped expand hip-hop to a mainstream audience in China and introduced many hopeful artists to stardom, getting them successfully signed to record labels. It is now gearing up for its fourth season.
Meanwhile, a promotional video of the show’s producers has been released to further anticipation. In the clip, the producers took turns in showing off each of their signature rapping styles.
