2AM member and actor Im Seulong has just released his new single “It’s You” on June 20th KST.
EXID member Hani acts in the music video as Seulong’s love interest and partner in crime. The couple is seen holding up an establishment and stealing jars of hearts to represent the love they are addicted to. They’re then on the run, but seem to be nonchalant, as long as they have each other. The majority of the video shows them handcuffed but loving every minute of their time together in what seems to be a wasteland. Eventually, the “love” runs out, and the links are broken between them. It’s a beautiful and artistic take on the concept of a relationship running dry and unfeeling.
The song is a well-produced, hip-hop ballad track that showcases Seulong’s smooth vocals. It is complemented by popular rapper Beenzino who holds a few verses in the song. Since his first solo collaboration with popular DJ Avicii in 2013, Seulong has done many more collaborations and released five solo tracks.
“It’s You” is the title track off Seulong’s new digital single album of the same name and includes one additional track, “That’s Right.”
