Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin have been confirmed for the lead roles in the upcoming film “Negotiation.”
The story involves the Crime Investigation Team’s best negotiator, Ha Chae Yoon (Son Ye Jin), who was given the task to save her senior boss against the criminal, Min Tae Goo (Hyun Bin), thus making it his first role as a villain.
The upcoming crime-thriller has been highly anticipated by fans since Hyun Bin’s last project “Confidential Assignment”— an action-packed thriller which was a hit with viewers. His last drama was “Hyde, Jekyll, Me” in 2015.
Hyun Bin is one of the highest paid actors in Korea and was given much attention for his amazing transition from the romantic heartthrob to tough spy. That’s why fans are anticipating seeing how Hyun Bin will now portray his first antagonist role.
While Son Ye Jin was last seen in her 2016 drama entitled “The Last Princess” and “The Truth Beneath” in which she won the Best Actress Award at the 22nd Chunsa Film Festival.
Son Ye Jin is also considered one of the best actress of her time and has been known to the audience as being steady and versatile in every role she does. She has already earned a lot of prestigious awards at other events, such as film the Baeksang Arts Awards and Chungmuro Film Festival.
The film is anticipated to keep the audience engaged due to its award-winning cast and the fact that JK Films (known for big hit movies such as “Ode to My Father”) is in charge of the project.
