Heo Young Ji recently participated in a photoshoot and interview with bnt International.
Showing off a variety of styles, the young star looked as beautiful as always. Her first photoshoot with bnt International was five years ago, so she commented how much things have changed since then, as well as how she had enjoyed the current shoot. “The photoshoot was so much fun,” she revealed, “I wanted to show a new look by trying out a lot of lovely concepts, and today’s shoot ended up being fresh in respect to that.”
Although Heo Young Ji’s interview covered a large variety of topics, she didn’t shy away from speaking about her past with KARA and how it had shaped her to be the person she is today. While she spoke with affection about her members and how she enjoyed standing on stage, she was also honest about how difficult it was to come into a group that was already formed. She stated, “I had to memorize the choreography for over 30 songs in such a short time because I had to go on tour as soon as I was put it into KARA. It wasn’t easy, but it was the life with my unnies that I had dreamed of since I was a trainee. So, I was able to face it happily, and my unnies treated me really well.”
She also confessed that although she stays busy with other activities like acting, YouTube, hosting, and more, she still misses her time upon the stage and even dances her KARA choreography at home by herself. “It’s surprising, but I still remember the choreography of all the songs. Sometimes, I dance alone at home… I think our choreography is so pretty overall. Among them, the song I love most is ‘Mamma Mia.’ Even when I see it now, it is beautiful enough to be admired.”
As for the future, Heo Young Ji plans to continue in her role as the MC on the show “Comedy Big League,” as well as continuing to pursue her various acting roles and more. She and her sister run a joint YouTube channel and she is also preparing to get active on the V Live channel ‘YOUNGJI.’ She also said that she thinks she will be meeting fans in a variety of entertainment programs as well and stated that her ultimate goal is to have a long and steady career over the years.
She plans on concentrating on her health and happiness, as well as make wise decisions about her future and try new activities.
