On November 15th KST, South Korean actress Ha Ji Won met her fans in Malaysia to promote her action-thriller movie “Manhunt.”
Together with the film director, John Woo, the actress attended a press conference to launch the new movie to Malaysian fans at the Pavilion KL concourse. The two also attended a gala premiere for their movie at Sunway Velocity Mall.
“Manhunt” is an adaptation of the Japanese novel“Kimi yo Fundo no Kawa o Watare” by Juko Nishimura. The movie was shot in Osaka and features top stars from China, South Korea, and Japan.
Ms. Ha will be the first female killer in a Woo action movie where she fights alongside Woo’s daughter Angeles. The world-famous director dubbed the actress the “female Chow Yun Fat” for her impressive acting performance in the movie.

“Manhunt” is scheduled to be released in Malaysian cinemas on November 23 and in other countries worldwide a later dates.
