GreatGuys To Become First K-pop Group To Hold Concert In Dominican Republic

The K-pop idol group GreatGuys is heading to the Caribbean this February to hold exclusive solo concerts in Puerto Rico and Santo Domingo. Not only is this a first for the charismatic boy group, but it also means GreatGuys will become the first K-pop act to ever perform in the Dominican Republic!

You may or may not have heard about GreatGuys: the nine- member boy group with an average height of 184cm (and home to the tallest male idol at 192cm). They have performed regularly at various music festivals around Korea, brought in major crowds at their various busking events (as seen through videos on their official YouTube channel entitled GREAT GUYS SPACE, as well as on their V-Live channel). Their steady and loyal fanbase, known as Grace, has been supporting them globally since even before their official debut on August 25, 2017.

After a successful crowdfunded comeback in the first half of last year (the disco-inspired ‘Dang!’), GreatGuys announced their biggest project yet, the first chapter of an album series entitled “We’re Not Alone.”

“Chapter 1: It’s You” was released October 9th of last year. Click here to watch their title track MV “Be On You.”

Most recently, you may have heard the group name when members Hwalchan and Baekgyeol attended the 2019 Idol Star Athletics Championships. Hwalchan even won the gold in the men’s 50m relay! He will soon be returning to TV to defend his spot for the 2020 ISAC New Year Special and will be joined by member Uiyeon. All three members, the three tallest members of the group, always turn heads thanks to their impressive heights, great looks, and athletic power at the idol event.

Earning praise both in Korea and abroad for their high quality performances and stunning visuals, GreatGuys has already held concerts and fan meetings in Europe and other Asian countries like Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia. Now, they can add Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic to that list!
