GreatGuys‘ Horyeong has landed his first lead role! He has been cast as the main character in the upcoming Thai action movie titled “Lost In Muay Thai,” as revealed on November 6th KST.
The film is directed by Tanit Jitnukul, a famous and well-loved director in Thailand, who sees the DNA Entertainment boy group vocalist taking on the role of charismatic hero, “Kim.”
Horyeong was chosen due to his image and spirit which is in perfect synchronization with the main character. Through a statement released by the company, the singer expressed his disbelief at the news and stated that he will do his best to prepare for the production before giving fans of GreatGuys (“Grace”) a shoutout for their endless support.
Horyeong is practicing hard every day for the role, taking Muay Thai lessons from Korean Muay Thai kickboxer Noh Jaegil at his renowned K. Max Gym in Seoul. The pair shared videos and a picture from their training session on GreatGuys’ official twitter and trainer Jaegil’s Instagram.
“Lost In Muay Thai” is scheduled to begin filming in January 2021. Congratulations, Horyeong!
