Gong Yoo and Song Hye Kyo are in talks to star in a new K-drama together!
On April 1st, it was revealed that Song Hye Kyo was in talks to star in a new drama by the scriptwriter of “That Winter, The Wind Blows” in which Song Hye Kyo starred in 2013. Noh Hee Kyung, who also wrote hit dramas like “Dear My Friends” and “Our Blues,” previously worked with Song Hye Kyo on another drama entitled “Worlds Within.”
Afterwards, it was revealed that the drama would be directed by Lee Yoon Jung, the mind behind popular dramas such as “Coffee Prince,” “The Lies Within,” “Cheese In The Trap,” and “Heart to Heart.”
On April 24th, it was then announced that Gong Yoo was in talks to join Song Hye Kyo in the new drama, exciting fans even more for the A-list casting and dream team of scriptwriter and director.
According to insiders, the new drama will follow the story of broadcasters in modern history who pass through a turbulent time as they experience firsthand the birth of Korea’s broadcasting industry.
