Former U-KISS member Alexander has an important request of all Kpop fans, regardless of their fandom.
On May 20th KST, the idol singer and host posted on his Twitter account with a message to all Kpop fans. He stated, “If u support Kpop n/or acknowledge their skill, then VOTE for BTS on BILLBOARD! Show ya FULL support thru voting! Esp if ya an ARMY. 화이팅!
He went on to say in another post, “Don’t underestimate the power of ONE vote. Every vote counts. Winning or losing, the total vote-count reflects ya LOVE & SUPPORT.”
Alexander makes a great point that for such an important event as this— where a Kpop artist is nominated for the prestigious Billboard Music Awards— that all Kpop fans should be supporting and voting to make sure they win. It doesn’t matter if you’re a BTS fan or not, the important thing is to support any Kpop group that is lucky enough to be nominated! Only when someone opens the doors for the first time, can other groups and artists hope to follow.
