Former 4Minute member Gayoon has signed with a new agency and will be focusing on a career in acting.
The gorgeous singer was the main vocalist for 4Minute and its sub-unit. She debuted with the group in 2009, enjoying a huge amount of success as one of the staple Kpop groups.
In June of this year however, CUBE Entertainment announced that four of the members would not be renewing their contracts and that the group would disband. As a result, fans have been waiting to hear news of the members and what step they would take next in their career.
Apart from singing, Gayoon developed an interest in acting as well. She began her acting career in 2011 with a cameo in “Me Too, Flower!” Since then, she has gone on to have several minor roles in TV and film. With this new agency however, she will be focusing primarily on acting and pursuing it as part of her new career on her own.
Are excited to see Gayoon sign with a new agency? Hopefully, that means we will be seeing more of her in the near future.
