EXO will soon have another member heading to the military!
On May 4th, leader Suho revealed to fans that he would be enlisting in the military on May 14th. In a handwritten letter to the fan club, he stated:
“To our EXO-L, hello. This is Suho.
There is something I want to tell you, so I am writing to you today. Starting on May 14th, I will begin to fulfill my military service. During that time, I will really miss EXO-L so much. To EXO-L who think of me and love me every day, I wish you all the best (also translates as: I hope you will all be healthy). I sincerely appreciate and love you all.
WE ARE ONE EXO. Let’s love.”
With Suho’s enlistment, he will become the third member of the popular idol group to enlist in the military. Members D.O and Xiumin are currently serving already.
Meanwhile, SMTOWN had previously revealed that 2020 would be a year for EXO to work in solo and unit activities due to members’ military service. Suho recently released his first solo album, entitled Self Portrait. Fellow member Baekhyun is confirmed to make his own solo comeback in May, and member Kai will also make his solo debut this year as well.
