EXO’s Kai shines in the newest issue of W magazine!
In photos released on December 23rd, the talented star is seen looking stunning and fashionable in his GUCCI photoshoot for W Korea. With his tall frame, gorgeous face, and lush hair, it’s not hard to see why the brand is currently in love with Kai and why he is in love with them as well.
The clothing seems made for the EXO member as the muted tones combine well with pops of color and fun prints. He sports everything from timeless tweeds, gorgeous checked overcoats, beautiful sweaters, and graphic print tees. The combination of classic and fun seems to echo Kai’s own personality as well since fans often comment on his duality.
Out of everything he wore for the shoot, Kai admitted he would like the sweater with green accents (seen below) for his own wardrobe. He also thought the picture where he was wearing a t-shirt came out particularly well.
Along with the photoshoot, the magazine also held an interview with Kai where he talked about his growth as an artist until now and his own personal mindset when it comes to achieving his goals. He admitted that he tries not to be greedy and instead just focuses on having fun and enjoying work instead of thinking about music show wins or how many albums he or EXO sells. “A person’s greed has no end,” he stated, “I realized that it was more important to enjoy work itself. There is no reason to do something while being stressed about it because we live to be happy.”
He also explained that this is why he focuses on the talents he is good at and doesn’t get greedy about trying other things such as writing lyrics or songs. Since he knows other people will do it better than he can, he instead likes to focus on his own specialties so that the end result will come out the best possible and satisfy his fans. “I have the desire to please my fans because my fans have a very high standard,” Kai revealed.
Speaking of happiness, he also talked about how he takes care of himself mentally. “You need to live caring for yourself… Don’t we live to be happy? I believe happiness comes when we work for it. So, happiness is what I’m always pursuing.”
