EXO has set another amazing record! The popular boy band from SMTOWN has officially become a quadruple million seller!
On August 14th KST, Gaon Charts announced that EXO’s recent album, entitled The War, has officially sold over 1 million copies. That means the album reached this amazing number of sales within just 24 days since its release, a new record for EXO.
What makes this occasion even more astonishing is the fact that this is EXO’s fourth physical album to reach over 1 million in sales in a single year, making them an official quadruple million seller. This means they are now tied for first place with Seo Taiji and Boys and H.O.T as the only quadruple million sellers in Korean history!
EXO already made history in 2013 when their hit album XOXO reached over 1 million in sales, making them the first Korean artist to hit that number of sales in 12 years!
