On October 29th, SMTOWN released the teaser video for EXO-CBX‘s upcoming debut MV “Hey Mama!”
The video features the three handsome members in an office setting, surrounded mostly by black and white, with pink accents everywhere. The artists are all dressed in suits and sporting mature looks, reminiscent of the fashion from the 1940s and 50s. With slicked-back hair and horn-rimmed glasses, the members look at home as they sit at desks with vintage office equipment.
The song itself promises to be a medium-tempo track, with some retro influences as well. SMTOWN says, “The main track is titled “Hey Mama!” (“Mama” in the title refers to an attractive woman) and talks about enjoying parties to make it a special day.”
The sub-unit’s mini-album (also entitled Hey Mama!) will be released on October 31st at midnight KST. The sub-unit, made up of Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin, is EXO‘s first sub-unit to debut.
