On November 1st KST, Ha Junyeong (better known as E.Co of JJCC) revealed on Instagram that he has left the Jackie Chan Korea boy group and will start a new chapter as a member of veteran idol group, 5TION.
The news comes days after JJCC announced an online fanmeeting for November 15th at 7 p.m, KST and revealed a promotional poster that features only four members.
As detailed in his Instagram post, E.Co will be promoting with his real name from now on. He reassured JJCC fans that there isn’t any trouble between the members but instead considers this move as a new challenge for the vocalist and rapper.

The re-entered group is a group named #5TION that has been loved by many fans since the past.
I’ll be working under my real name, Junyeong, not E.Co, and E.Co will remain as JJCC’s E.Co as I use my real name for a new beginning.
We’re going to start broadcasting in the second week of November.
I’m working really hard to prepare for the thought of seeing you again on the broadcast.
I’m sure there are fans who will be disappointed by the sudden news, but please give us a lot of support!
It wasn’t an easy decision, but I decided after thinking about it seriously.
JJCC’s younger brothers are starting with a lot of support, and the Jackie Chan Korea CEO made a tough decision.
It’s not because of trouble with JJCC’s younger brothers, but it’s the beginning of a new kind of challenge.

5TION (pronounced “ocean”) originally debuted in 2001 and have had various line-up changes as well as transformations over the years They receive love not only in Korea but also in Japan and China.
