N-Sonic has come out victorious in the lawsuit filed against them by their agency, C2K Entertainment.
In May of 2016, N-Sonic requested a contract termination from the agency. The request was handled by their lawyer, and the members cut off all contact with the agency. Since then, the agency was unable to get in touch with any of the members, and the group ended up missing the rest of their previously planned schedules and activities. As a result, the entertainment company decided to file a lawsuit against the members of the group. In their lawsuit, they decided to sue for compensation from damages due to the break of contract.
On June 22, 2017, the Seoul Central District Court ruled in favor of the group and its members. Why they decided in favor of the group hasn’t become immediately clear. However, the company was very unhappy with the ruling and stated that there were trainees waiting to debut and the group’s actions caused damage to them, as well as financial damage to the company.
Member Sihoo simply wrote on his Instagram account, “Truth and justice will always prevail.”
