Cha Hak Yeon (also known as VIXX‘s N) has been confirmed for a new drama!
He is confirmed to join the cast for tvN’s new Friday-Saturday drama, “Bad and Crazy” (literal translation). The show tells the story of a materialistic detective who changes his ways and decides to fight for justice after encountering a mysterious individual named “K.”
Lee Dong Wook plays the materialistic detective Soo Yeol while Wi Ha Joon plays the role of “K,” and Han Ji Eun will portray police lieutenant Hee Kyeom.
Cha Hak Yeon takes on the role of Oh Kyung Tae, a police officer at Sohyang Police Station. He is the youngest police officer in the district unit and has a strong sense of duty. An infinitely friendly and warm-hearted person, he can’t walk past those in need. Although he has a pure and innocent side, he is a tenacious police officer who does not miss a single clue.
Regarding his new role, the idol-turned-actor stated, “The script was so interesting I lost track of time while reading it. Although he seems like an innocent rookie police officer on the surface, Kyung Tae does his best to protect the things he thinks he should protect. His determination left a strong impression on me. I worried a lot while playing the character of Kyung Tae, but thanks to a good director and senior actors, I’m having fun filming, so I hope you will look forward to it a lot.”
Directed by Yoo Sun Bong and written by Kim Sae Bom, “Bad and Crazy” is set to premiere in December.
