BTS‘s Jin and V released a special OST for “Hwarang” entitled “Even If I Die, It’s You.”
On December 20th, the song was released for the new Kdrama on KBS, making it the second official OST for the new program. The OST is also revealed to be the Kdrama’s theme song for the hwarangs (elite youth), as well as BTS’s first drama OST.
Written by musical director Oh Jun Sung, the song features an energetic, groovy, and upbeat feel as it expresses the characters’ love. Kim Taehyung, the name BTS’s V aims to be known by for his acting career, is supported by his fellow bandmate Jin, making it their first ever duet. Fans are looking forward to the special track in order to see how the two artists sound together.
In related news, “Hwarang” aired its first episode already and is available to watch on Viki. The plot tells of a group of male elite youth during the Kingdom of Silla.
