It’s official! The Chainsmokers will be featured on a track in BTS‘s new album, Love Yourself 承 ‘Her.’
Ever since BTS met with the popular Western duo at the Billboard Music Awards, fans began to anticipate a collaboration. According to Big Hit Entertainment, The Chainsmokers kept in touch with BTS well after the award show.
The track itself is titled “Best Of Me” and was written by Andrew Taggart of The Chainsmokers and the rapline of BTS. The song is of the EDM genre, a sound distinct to The Chainsmokers’ musical style.
This news follows the release of a comeback trailer featuring Jimin titled “Serendipity,” and concept photos for the four versions of the album. The mini-album is set to drop on September 18th, KST.
The Chainsmokers are set to perform in Busan and Seoul in September as part of the Hyundai Card Culture Project.
