BTS Makes History With 2021 Grammy Awards Nomination

The Recording Academy has announced the nominees for the 2021 Grammy Awards, and BTS has officially been nominated for the category of Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with their hit single “Dynamite.”

BTS’ “Dynamite” has been breaking records ever since its release and was also the first-ever song from a South Korean act to rank at number one on the Billboard chart. Other Grammy nominees for this category include J Balvin, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny and Tainy’s “Un Dia (One Day),” Justin Bieber’s “Intentions” (featuring Quavo), Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s “Rain on Me,” and Taylor Swift’s “Exile” (featuring Bon Iver).

A BTS album was previously nominated for a 2019 Grammys when their album “Love Yourself: Tear” was nominated for the category of Best Recording Package. However, this is their first nomination going to the actual group and for a musical category. As such, ARMYs could not be any prouder!

BTS’ V, Jimin, RM and Jungkook recorded a live reaction to the announcement of the Grammy nominations, and it is every bit as adorable as you would imagine! You can watch the video below!
