The 32nd Golden Disc Awards was held on January 10th-11th at the KINTEX Center in Seoul. Over two nights, awards were given to the best and brightest stars of Kpop.
The first night of the event focused on digital sales, while the second night focused on the sale of physical albums. The main winners were IU for Digital Daesang (Grand Prize), BTS for overall Daesang, and EXO who took home the most awards of the nights with a total of four awards.
Many artists also took to the stage to perform, including Lee Hi who performed her moving song “Breathe” in a performance dedicated to the song’s composer, the late Kim Jonghyun of SHINee. To close out the night were senior artists Super Junior, performing their recent hit “Black Suit,” as well as their B-track “Runaway.”
