Great news for BTS fans! The legendary band has achieved number one on the famous Billboard Hot 100 chart!
On August 31st, the new chart rankings were revealed to show that BTS’ new song “Dynamite,” their first all-English track, had made its debut at the number one position. This makes the band’s first number one on this chart and only the 43rd song in the history of the chart to be able to make its debut at the number one position instead of working its way up.
Previously, the group has placed twelve different times on the Hot 100 chart, making it to the top ten four different times. They have reached number one on the Billboard 200 albums chart four different times, but this is their first track to reach the top spot on the enviable Hot 100.
The Hot 100 chart is made up by data from sales, radio airplay, and U.S. streaming.
