BTS has confirmed that they will be attending the 2017 Billboard Music Awards!
On May 8th, the group confirmed that they would be attending due to their nomination for “Top Social Artist,” along with other artists like Justin Beiber and Ariana Grande. They are the first Kpop group to be nominated.
The awards show will be held in Las Vegas on May 21st. This will be the group’s first red carpet appearance at a mainstream American event.
With voting open to fans, BTS has been proving their popularity with the overwhelming number of tweets and shared hashtags. Even opposing fandoms like the Beliebers have been commenting on the dedication of BTS’s fandom, noting that they are making it difficult to catch up to BTS’s number of votes.
