BLACKPINK Tops Oricon’s Daily Album Chart With Japanese Debut

BLACKPINK has reached first place on Oricon’s daily album chart with the release of their first Japanese mini-album!

On August 29th, the popular YG Entertainment girl group earned themselves the top spot on the Oricon charts. The group’s album includes the Japanese versions of hit tracks such as “As If It’s Your Last” and “Whistle,” to fans’ satisfaction.

Given its official debut on August 30th, BLACKPINK’s new mini-album sets a great achievement for the group’s venture into the Japanese market.  YG CEO’s Yang Hyun Suk also shared his excitement on Instagram.
