iKON‘s “Love Scenario” was dubbed the ‘Chart Topper’ of the first half of 2018, according to Billboard Korea.
On June 18th, Billboard announced that the single was number one on their K-Pop chart for the most consecutive weeks of any single released so far this year – an impressive five weeks in total.
Tied for second place with three consecutive weeks at #1 were Loco and Hwasa‘s “Don’t Give It To Me,” Wanna One‘s “Boomerang,” and Jang Deok Cheol‘s “Good Old Days.”
“Love Scenario” remained at the top of the charts from the last week of January to the third week of March. “Don’t Give It To Me” was #1 starting from the last week of April, “Boomerang” from the last week of March, and “Good Old Days” from the third week of January.
All four songs are still featured on Billboard’s K-Pop Hot 100. As of last week, “Don’t Give It To Me” was positioned at #12, “Love Scenario” at #21, “Good Old Days” at #24, and “Boomerang” at #55.
Billboard’s K-Pop Hot 100 is a music record chart that ranks singles based on streaming performance, album sales, and airplay. The chart is regularly updated on the Billboard Korea homepage.
