BIGBANG‘s T.O.P and JYJ‘s Junsu have both enlisted in the military today.
The two Hallyu stars enlisted together on February 9th at the Nonsan Army Training center in Chungcheong. Despite not announcing their enlistment information and wanting to enlist quietly, fans found out the information and went to the army base to bid them farewell.
T.O.P had a hat and coat on to hide his face as much as possible. Despite hiding though, a nervous expression was still evident on his face. Junsu was also looking a bit nervous, his short new haircut making the star look very different indeed.
After four weeks of basic training, the two artists will serve as public servants. Junsu will serve as a police officer in the Gyeonggi province (the area surrounding Seoul), while T.O.P will serve under the Seoul Metropolitan Police. They will both be discharged on November 8th, 2018.
We wish T.O.P and Junsu the best of luck as they fulfill their military service!
