According to police reports from Seoul Gangnam Police Station, ASTRO‘s Moonbin was found dead in his Gangnam home on April 19th at 8:10 p.m. KST. The manager who found his body immediately notified the authorities after the tragic discovery.
Amidst the speculations about his death, the police are pursuing investigations and assured the public that they are considering conducting an autopsy to pinpoint the exact cause of his passing.
Fantagio Entertainment has issued a statement as well in which they expressed their grief and shock at the sudden tragedy. The agency urged the public to refrain from making speculative and malicious gossip with respect to the incident and revealed that the bereaved family plans to conduct a quiet funeral with close friends and colleagues in attendance.
Moonbin debuted as part of the six-member boy group ASTRO in February 2016 before taking part in their sub-unit, Moonbin&Sanha. He also starred in acting projects such as “Boys Over Flowers,” “Moment of Eighteen,” and “To Be Continued.” He was 25 years old as of his passing.
