Artists of Asian heritage all over the globe prepare for a star-studded event!
#OURIDENTITY: Project Blue Marble is a digital event that celebrates Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month in the U.S.. The special collaboration aims to raise funds for COVID-19 relief and to combat senseless discrimination against the Asian community.
Presented by Transparent Arts, Gold House, Amazon Music, Pacific Bridge Arts Foundation, and XRM Media, the eight-hour Twitch livestream promotes the hashtag #OURIDENTITY to raise “a unified awareness to this movement.” The tag asserts that having an Asian identity is not the virus.
All the profits earned through the event will go to the United Way organization, which in turn will be providing “protective gear, food, disinfection + sanitization, financial support in certain areas.”
Artists like Jay Park, Sik-K, and Woodie Gochild of H1GHR MUSIC will all be participating, as well Flowsik, Dumbfoundead, Vanness Wu, Hyolyn, Kevin Oh, and many more! In addition to the artists who will be participating, many Asian leaders and influencers will also be special guests, including Wong Fu Productions, Andrew Yang, Kinjaz, and more.
Catch #OURIDENTITY: Project Blue Marble on Amazon Music’s Twitch channel when it goes live on Saturday, May 30th at 2 p.m. PST! Meanwhile, check out the complete list of participating artists below!
