Jung Eunji has been cast in a new drama!
On August 18th, the Apink singer and popular actress shared the news via her Instagram account. In the post, she shared a picture of her script, confirming the rumors that she would be in the upcoming drama, entitled “Untouchable.”
The drama co-stars Jin Goo (“Descendants of the Sun”) and Go Jun Hee (“She Was Pretty”), and Kim Sung-kyun (“Reply 1988”). It focuses on the story of a fictional city named Bukcheon, a place which has been dominated by the Jang family for three generations. Jang Joon-Seo (Jin Goo) plays the second son of the family’s leader Jang Beom-Ho (Kim Sung-kyun). When the woman Jang Joon-Seo loves passes away, he tries to reveal the truth about her death and thus uncovers a secret his family is hiding.
The drama is directed by Jo Nam-Gook, the brilliant mind behind intense movies such as “The Chaser.” Knowing the plot, along with this amazing director, it sounds like this will be an exciting and suspenseful drama.
“Untouchable” will begin airing this fall on JTBC.
