Power vocal Ailee will be celebrating a decade of music with her fans through a virtual concert next month!
“COLORS: Ailee XR Concert” aims to create a metaverse environment where fans can interact with Ailee herself. The XR (eXtended Reality) technology that was prepared for the event is described as an experience that will make the audience feel like they are in the front-row seat during the performances.
The online event is funded by a campaign and those who sent in their pledges with receive access to the live stream on November 12th at 9 p.m. KST. In addition, there will also be fan-made events for Kickstarter ticket holders and rewards depending on the amount they pledged.
An Aileean (Ailee’s fandom) Digital ID Card with over a thousand variations of Ailee will be issued to those who supported the Kickstarter. Fans are set to join Ailee on a quest to recover the faded colors of the universe after a cataclysmic environmental incident wiped them away. Once all missions have been cleared, 12 different lights and colors will lend their brilliance to the XR stages.
Ailee is a South Korean-American singer-songwriter who pursued performing arts from a young age, long before her debut as a soloist in the Korean entertainment industry. In 2012, she received a line-up of major awards including Best New Artist Award at the Seoul Music Awards, Melon Music Awards, Mnet Asian Music Awards, and Golden Disk Awards. She was also awarded the honor of New Female Solo Artist Award at the Gaon Chart Music Awards.
Through her management company, Ailee expressed her awe and gratitude at celebrating her 10th debut anniversary. She stated, “I had such special days because I had fans who have supported me for a very long time and have always believed in me. I always appreciate it and love you, my fans. I’ll make sure to be better me all the time.”
