Actor Jung Il Woo has officially begun his time of basic training for his mandatory military service.
A representative from his agency revealed that on November 8th at 2 pm KST, the actor the military camp quietly, accompanied only by his family.
The famous Hallyu star will complete four weeks of basic training before beginning his period of service as a public service worker. He will be released in approximately 24 months.
It was recently revealed that Jung Il Woo has a potentially deadly brain disease as the result of an accident he suffered ten years ago. Although he could have been excused from his military service, he chose instead to fulfill his duties anyways. However, due to his health issues, he cannot serve as an active duty soldier.
