Actor Joo Won has begun his military service!
On May 16th KST, Joo Won quietly began his enlistment. Last year, the actor passed the test to join the Promotional Police Unit but cancelled those plans and decided to enlist as active duty instead. He arrived at the training center dressed simply and wearing a mask, which he removed to greet fans warmly. After greeting fans, the actor entered the training center without any special remarks. After basic training, he will serve as an active duty soldier for 21 months.
Joo Won gave his thoughts on his enlistment on May 15th at the press conference for his upcoming drama, “My Sassy Girl.” He noted, “I feel better than I thought I would. I feel rather calm and relaxed.”
Joo Won’s upcoming pre-produced drama, “My Sassy Girl,” begins airing on May 29th. We wish Joo Won a safe and healthy service!
