ASTRO‘s MJ is back with long-awaited music! On September 24th at 12 p.m. KST, the vocalist released his latest digital single, “Why so pretty?”
The easygoing song describes the magical experience of falling in love and expresses the surge of emotions accompanying the moment. It was created by K-pop and OST producer Jimin (JAK), singer-songwriter The Daisy, and composer Ham Habin.
“Why so pretty?” is a collaboration between ASTRO’s MJ and music publishing agency Claff Company and part of K-Music ON!, a project under the “2024 Content Creative Talent Accompanying Excellent Project Commercialization Support.”

Katherine grew up watching Korean dramas and other Asian shows. Although she first learned to appreciate Korean music through OSTs broadcasted locally, it wasn’t until 2011 that she properly paid attention to K-pop.
