Donghae and Eunhyuk are back with SUPER JUNIOR-D&E‘s sixth mini-album INEVITABLE on September 25th at 6 p.m. KST!
The title track “Go High” is a strong hip-hop-based song with intense drums and bass that captures the duo’s new endeavors with witty lyrics. The message of trying everything you’ve never done before is reflected in a kitschy yet sophisticated instrumental that later develops into a surprising twist. The addictive chorus featuring the members’ recorded voices using vocal effects is a particularly catchy detail.
D&E’s own Donghae wrote and composed “Go High” alongside ROKSTAXIL who also arranged the track. The accompanying music video utilizes fluid dance lines and perfect coordination and doubles D&E’s charm by placing interestingly fantastical components everywhere.
INEVITABLE includes six new genre-diverse tracks exploring the styles of hip-hop, rock, synth-pop, and more. Each song has its own distinct personality yet they are organically connected within the overall flow of the album. This ties back into the title track’s message, showcasing the evolution of SUPER JUNIOR-D&E’s musical endeavors.
