NCT WISH‘s first mini-album Steady is finally here!
Following two pre-release singles, September 24th at 6 p.m. KST saw the release of Steady and its title track of the same name.
“Steady” is a dance song that harmoniously blends a modern melody with the beat of House, UK garage, and Jersey Club. NCT WISH’s vibrant vocals add to the song’s refreshing charm.
The track expresses Gen Z’s pure heart as they wish for a miraculous encounter to continue forever without changing altogether. Veteran hitmaker and SM Entertainment in-house producer KENZIE wrote “Steady” lyrics and co-composed the song with Karen Poole, Georgia Ku, and Lewis Jankel.
The “Steady” music video tells the story of NCT WISH’s innocent and pure first love. The dreamy atmosphere and cinematic production are reminiscent of a youth movie and incorporates the group’s “cupids in training” concept. The image of young Cupid falling in love with a ghost exudes a fresh charm.
Steady contains seven songs including the pre-released singles “Dunk Shot” and “3 Minutes” in addition to the Korean version of the pre-debut track “Hands Up,” released when NCT WISH was still known as NCT NEW TEAM.
