WATCH: Ha Sung Woon Feels So “Blessed” In Comeback MV

Ha Sung Woon is back with new music after completing his military service earlier this year!

The former HOTSHOT and Wanna One member released his eighth mini-album Blessed on July 17th at 6 p.m KST.

The title track, also named “Blessed,” is a hip-hop-based dance number that shows an intense image of Ha Sungwoon that differs from the past. In particular, it is a song about the confidence to walk confidently on your own path, not the life someone else has chosen for you.

The singer participated in writing lyrics alongside producer Colde who also participated in composing “Blessed.” Additional artists who penned lyrics on the track include yukon (0WAVE) and Lee Hyung Seok, as well as various members of producing and songwriting teams 153/Joombas, Jam Factory, and lalala studio. Meanwhile, composers basecamp, no2zcat, and Haedo (Papermaker) also worked on the song.

The music video for “Blessed” takes you to a surreal utopia that immerses you in a fantasy world. It visually presents the idea of finding a complete self in an incomplete time and space, while moving forward into a new world. The symbolic storytelling piece reflects Ha Sungwoon’s attempt to transform himself as an artist.

Blessed contains five tracks including a collaboration with ERIC of THE BOYZ who features on the song “All I Need.”
