WATCH: NewJeans Stuns In Japanese Debut With Retro-Styled “Supernatural” MV

On June 21st KST, NewJeans finally dropped their Japanese debut single and music video, “Supernatural!”

The song reinterprets Pharrell Williams‘s iconic ad-libs and bridges from his 2009 production ‘”Back of My Mind” into a mellow new jack swing style that embodies NewJeans’s fresh youthful vibes. Gigi, Pharrell Williams, Ylva Dimberg, and member Minji penned its lyrics while 250 produced the track.

“Right Now,” also in the single album along with instrumental versions of the songs, hit music sites on June 17th KST as a pre-release track.

NewJeans will hold their second fanmeeting “Bunnies Camp 2024 Tokyo Dome” on June 26th and 27th. This event makes them the fastest foreign artist to have a show in the colossal Tokyo Dome sphere after debuting, taking only a little under two years for them to reach such levels of popularity.
