Celebrating their 10th debut anniversary this year, Red Velvet is back with a new album Cosmic and the music video for the title track of the same name on June 24th at 6 p.m. KST.
“Cosmic” is a dynamic pop dance song that starts with an upbeat guitar, followed by gorgeous synth strings and disco rhythms. The group’s fantastic vocal harmonies maximize the emotions of love and romance.
The track is a collaboration between hitmaker KENZIE and Swedish songwriting team Moonshine and features fairytale-like lyrics about learning to love infinitely like the universe.
Meanwhile, the music video captures the story of Red Velvet expressing love uniquely on a planet where midsummer festivals have begun, with a mysterious and enchanting atmosphere and strong production as expected from the quintet.
Cosmic is filled with six songs containing Red Velvet’s distinctive sound and charms which have been developing consistently since their debut 10 years ago in 2014. Additionally, the new album also commemorates this milestone.
