On June 21st at 6 p.m. KST, Lee Young Ji released her first EP and a music video for her song “Small Girl” featuring EXO‘s Kyungsoo!
The song is a candid reflection on what if she were a “small girl” instead of her tall, loud, and confident nature. According to the artist, she is happy and proud of the way she is but sometimes wonders what it would be like if things were different.
Lee Young Ji herself wrote its lyrics and co-composed “Small Girl” with PEEJAY who also arranged and produced the song. The singer’s first mini-album titled 16 FANTASY features six tracks in total: “16,” “My Cat,” “Small Girl,” “ADHD,” “Unknown Guy,” and “Tell Me!”
Lee Young Ji is a rapper, singer, and variety show star. In 2019, she joined Mnet‘s amateur competition for young rappers “High School Rapper 3 ” and emerged as the winner. In 2022, she also participated in the 11th season of Mnet’s “Show Me The Money” and became the first and only woman to win the show.
