On the back of a successful run as contestants on “Britain’s Got Talent” and reaching the semi-finals, BLITZERS has returned with new music for the first time in over a year.
The boy group released the fourth EP LUNCH-BOX and the music video for the title track “SUPERPOWER” on June 19th at 6 p.m. KST.
“SUPERPOWER” is a song that captures the cool energy of BLITZERS with a French house beat that highlights the bassline and saxophone. It contains a sensuous rhythm and melody that makes you naturally sway to the groove.
The track was written and composed by prolific K-pop and K-Hip Hop producers Roydo, QM, and Konquest. In addition to monotostereo, known for their remixes of hit songs, who participated in the composition and arrangement of “SUPERPOWER.” The song expresses BLITZERS bold ambition and sincerity to be your superpower using their voices.
Filmed in London, the music video features a unique atmosphere and scenes of interacting with various people on the streets. BLITZERS members Sya and Chris participated in making the choreography alongside DOKTEUK CREW. The dance crew was present with the boys directing and choreographing their “Britain’s Got Talent” stages while previously having competed on the show’s American counterpart themselves a few years ago.
LUNCH-BOX consists of six songs that feel like a complete performance if listen to all the songs in track order. Chris participated in writing three songs including the English version of “SUPERPOWER,” as well as Juhan who penned lyrics for the song “RING RING.” The fourth EP also contains the English version of their previous single, “Macarena.”
