On June 11th at 6 p.m. KST, Kim Jae Joong unveiled the pre-release single “I AM U” ahead of his upcoming full-length 20th anniversary album FLOWER GARDEN to be released later this month.
“I AM U” is a fan song dedicated to listeners and expresses the memories shared throughout the singer’s remarkable 20-year-long career. Jaejoong participated in lyric writing alongside CiELOGROOVE‘s CiELO and Jooan (of boy group TAN), who composed the track with TRIAD and SUHI also on the producing team.
Recently, Jaejoong successfully wrapped up his fan concert “I’M TWENTY” which saw him performing in South Korea, Australia, Macau, Taiwan, and Japan. “I AM U” marks his first music release of 2024, with his previous album BORN GENE released in September 2022.
