cignature is back with their fifth EP Sweetie but Saltie and the music video for the title track “PoongDung” on June 10th at 6 p.m. KST!
PoongDung is a word imitating the sound of a big and heavy object that falls or drops into deep water, and in cignature’s case, it is used to express how hard they are falling in love. The song contains straightforward lyrics with a refreshing seasonal feeling and combines a funky groove rhythm with vocal chops, vintage piano, and synths.
It was composed by Ryan S. Jhun, Scott Russell Stoddart, Anna Timgren, Jason Ok and NiNE‘s Kim Mingu and Lee Yejun, while the lyrics were written by Lee Miso (Music Cube), Lee Songyu (MUMW) and Lee Hyejoon (ONCLASSA).
