aespa is back with a bang!
On May 27th at 6 p.m. KST, the group returned with their first studio album and a music video for its second title track, “Armageddon.”
The hip-hop dance piece has a strong synth bass sound and an old-school but catchy melody. Its Korean lyrics were written by Bang Heyhyun while EJAE, SUMIN, Waker (153/Joombas), and No Identity composed the song.
Armageddon has broken over one million copies in stock pre-orders as announced by SMTOWN earlier today. This is their fourth consecutive million-seller following their mini-albums Girls, MY WORLD, and Drama. Its pre-released title track “Supernova” has recently become the fastest girl group song of the year to get a perfect-all kill on South Korean music charts.
